So you’re traveling? And perhaps a little worried about losing some of your hard earned fitness gains. The good news is that if you are already consistent with your fitness routine, your fitness level will sustain during longer breaks. However, cardio endurance will decline quicker than your strength, and after 7 days of inactivity you will be feeling the effects!
The solution? Stay active even when you’re away! No that doesn’t mean scrap your fun family plans to hit a local gym, just seize opportunities to sneak in a few reps here and there. Of course if you want to crush ‘real’ workouts while you’re away, definitely go do it!
