In season – Now through July, but it’s always available at the grocery store

What to look for when buying – Cauliflower heads should be tightly packed and should feel firm with pressed lightly. There should be no yellowing, browning or soft spots.

Flavor – A bit bitter when eaten raw, but still really crisp and fresh. When roasted, super duper sweet.

Storage – Keep cauliflower in the refrigerator, tightly wrapped. It should last about 3-5 days this way.

Nutrition – Loaded with good-for-you antioxidants, as well as fiber. Contains anti-inflammatory properties and is low in calories!
